Why we started KodiSmart
Finding a house in Dar often means paying brokers a fee to see each one, walking around all day, and finding a place that looks nothing like the photos. We set out to change that: local agents check every home first, and a tenant pays one small fee for a whole month.

How we are organised
Every agent works under the Meneja for their area, who checks listings and new agent applications. The head-office team looks after payments and handles tenant reports.

A registered agent goes to the house, takes the photos and confirms the owner. Their Meneja checks it before it goes live.
A real team in Dar
Our Dar es Salaam Meneja looks after every agent in the city. If something goes wrong, someone local follows up.
Report anything odd
Wrong photos, a fake owner, someone asking for cash outside the app. Report it and our team looks into it.
Paid through the app
You confirm every payment on your own phone with your mobile money PIN. No cash to strangers.
